Onneksi on taas jätteenpolttolaitoksia.

Tykkäsin Edge of Tomorrow vaikka siinä 10 vuotta joutuu venyttämään.
Yleistä mielipidettä vastoin pidin jonkun verran myös The Mummystä.

On September 1, 1985, the wreck of the RMS Titanic was located at a depth of about 3,800 meters in the North Atlantic, roughly 370 miles southeast of Newfoundland. The expedition used the research vessel Knorr and the deep-sea submersible Argo, equipped with cameras and sonar.
The team employed Argo, a towed sled with video and still cameras, to capture the initial images. These were low-resolution by today’s standards but groundbreaking at the time. The first photos confirmed the Titanic's identity, showing its bow and debris field.
The earliest photographs included the Titanic’s iconic bow, a boiler, and scattered debris like wine bottles and dishes. These images were transmitted to the surface via Argo’s umbilical cable and were the first visual proof of the wreck’s condition, revealing it was broken into two main sections.
The 1985 photos, published widely in 1986 (e.g., in National Geographic), captivated the world, confirming the Titanic’s location after decades of mystery. They also sparked debates about preservation versus salvage, as the wreck showed signs of deterioration even then.
In 1986, Ballard returned with the submersible Alvin and ROV Jason Jr., capturing higher-quality images and video, including interior shots of the grand staircase area.
The RMS Titanic wreck, located about 3,800 meters below the North Atlantic Ocean, was last photographed by submersibles during an expedition by RMS Titanic Inc. in July and August 2024. This was their first return to the site in 14 years, using two remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to capture over two million high-resolution images and 24 hours of HD footage of the wreck and its debris field.
The goal was to document the site's deterioration, including a fallen railing section on the bow (noted as intact in 2022 scans but collapsed by 2024), and to create a detailed 3D digital model. They also rediscovered and photographed the bronze "Diana of Versailles" statue from 1986, which had been lost to sediment.
This expedition followed earlier ones, such as the 2022 Magellan/Atlantic Productions scan (using submersibles for 700,000+ images) and the 2010 RMS Titanic Inc. visit. The 2024 images highlight ongoing decay from rusticles and currents, with no later expeditions reported as of August 29, 2025. RMS Titanic Inc. holds salvage rights and plans further visits, but this is the most recent confirmed photographic documentation.

K: If Batman is considered a superhero despite lacking supernatural powers, is Adolf Hitler considered a supervillain?
K: So Adolf Hitler was just a villain?Grok kirjoitti:No, Adolf Hitler is not considered a supervillain in the same way Batman is a superhero. The term "supervillain" is typically reserved for fictional characters in comics, movies, or other media who possess extraordinary abilities, resources, or intellect and use them for malevolent purposes, often in opposition to a superhero. Examples include the Joker, Lex Luthor, or Thanos. These characters are defined by their exaggerated, archetypal roles within narrative frameworks, often with theatrical motives or schemes.
Hitler, as a historical figure, was a real person responsible for horrific atrocities, but he doesn't fit the fictional, stylized mold of a supervillain. His actions were driven by ideology, political power, and systemic control, not the kind of personal, theatrical villainy seen in comic book narratives. Labeling him a supervillain risks oversimplifying or trivializing the real-world impact of his crimes, which are better understood through historical and moral lenses rather than fictional tropes.
Grok kirjoitti:Adolf Hitler is best described as a historical figure responsible for immense evil, rather than a "villain" in the narrative sense. The term "villain" often implies a fictional or dramatized character, like those in stories (e.g., the Joker or Darth Vader), with motivations and traits crafted for entertainment or moral storytelling. Hitler’s actions—leading the Nazi regime, orchestrating the Holocaust, and initiating World War II—were real, systemic, and catastrophic, causing millions of deaths and immense suffering.
Calling him a "villain" risks reducing the complexity and real-world horror of his actions to a simplistic label. He’s more accurately described as a dictator, war criminal, or perpetrator of genocide, with his motives rooted in hateful ideology, power, and nationalism rather than the theatrical evil of a supervillain. In historical analysis, his actions are studied through political, social, and psychological lenses, not fictional archetypes.

Darth Vader tappoi enemmän kuin Hitler. Tosin voidaan toki esittää, että keisari määräsi Alderaanin 2 miljardin ihmisen murhaamisen.
